This Adult CPR, AED, and First Aid course is designed to provide lay rescuers the ability to recognize several immediate life-threatening emergencies and intervene in a safe, timely, and effective manner. This course covers CPR, AED use, choking, and first aid for adults. The class complies with all state (WISHA) and federal (OSHA) requirements. Students will receive a 2-Year Health and Safety Institute (HSI) CPR, AED and First Aid Adult certification card upon completion of the course, which also includes a downloadable student manual upon completion of the class.
If you work for a hospital and require an American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver certification, there is an additional $10 charge. You will pay that additional fee on the day of the class. Please arrive 15 minutes early and inform the instructor when you arrive the day of that you need the AHA card, not the HSI. If you need the AHA student manual, there is an additional $2.75 charge.
